Digital Sales Director(Job Order#1005)Salary: Base is from 110k to 150k.Location: Europe (Paris)Type: Full Time JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a member of the Sales Team and reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, the Director of Business Development will be responsible for managing his/her region to achieve the development of strategic sales direction, business plans and target accounts for the designated markets; and identifying new areas for application. He/she will become the subject matter expert for the Company technology platform. Key activities include:Establishment and cultivation of beneficial business relationships with key personnel within major pharmaceutical accounts, large hospital systems, and medical associations.Development of strategic sales direction, business plans and target accounts for the designated accounts. Identifying new areas for application etc.Prepare and conduct successful presentations at The Company customer and partner accounts and at trade shows & public demonstrations.Manage sales activity within the region through outstanding networking, collaborative relationships and influencing skills. Ensure the proper tools are utilized to track and measure progress toward business plans.Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new product releases, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.Provide input into new product development and marketing strategies for The Company platform.Manage Region to achieve The Company business objectives.Gain business/market share at assigned accounts within region. Cross-functionally work with key The Company constituents to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve Regional goals.Provide support to the assigned Account Manager once a sale is closed.SKILLSProven abilities in client relations and business plan development, strategic/tactical planning, and channel partner management.Extensive experience selling and building effective relationships at the decision maker's level such as hospital administrator, department heads and financial decision makers in the health care sector and/or decision makers in a pharmaceutical organization (Product Manager, Chief Medical Officer, External Medical & Scientific Affairs, VP E-Business or Director Customer Strategies & Solutions).Experience creating customized presentations for sophisticated healthcare audience.Experience in working with designers to create customized demonstrationsExecutive level communication and presentation skills.Ability to effectively use CRM computer tools, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, e-mail programs, and the internet.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in dealing with management, employees, outside consultants and customers.DESIRED PERSONAL TRAITSEthical (possesses honesty, integrity and the highest ethical and moral standards).Energetic (a self-starter; genuinely enthusiastic; strong personal work ethic).Organizational skills (results oriented; meets established goals and objectives).Credibility (can command respect of staff, and external customers).Persuasive (able to build good relationships with colleagues and clients).Detail orientation (able to assure that minor and complex details are attended to and accomplished).Collaborative (demonstrates a willingness and ability to work with and through others).Executive presence (polished; self confident).Strategic (able to envision and articulate "the big picture" and help customers understand goals).Interpersonal skills (has skills necessary to gain the trust of others to interact effectively with persons at all levels, both internally and externally, to develop rapport and gain key insights into business processes or alternative approaches)Self-motivated and goal-driven (given the current pace and complexity of today's healthcare industry, drives for results)Ability to problem-solveEDUCATIONBachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree/MBA preferred.
