Director, Sales (Over the Counter and Consumer Goods and Services)(Job Order #1001)Salary: Pays up to 150k base. Location: NorthEast/Work from HomeType: Full Time About the Opportunity:Our needs are for a senior advertising sales person in the NYC/NJ/Philly area, selling advertising campaigns to advertising agencies and brand marketers, specifically for over the counter and consumer goods and services that help our members achieve their health goals. Our value proposition includes site based and opt-ed in email-based advertising campaigns.The Position:The Director, Sales OTC/CPG is a position designed to personalize advertising relationships with key markets and products.Experience Required: A minimum of five years of successful advertising sales experience. This exposure should include account executive experience, sales-cycle management and financial responsibility. History of consultative and solution selling. Must include at least 3 years of experience selling directly to over the counter and consumer packaged goods companies and their advertising agencies. Online advertising experience preferred. Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota. Requires a working knowledge of computer-based programs, MS Office, e-mail and contact management software. Strong analytical skills necessary to monitor financial progress of sales and marketing plans and programs. Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to interface effectively with customers and senior management.Personal Attributes: Ability to react quickly and effectively within a fast-changing environment. Proactive, shows initiative, and takes ownership. Works well from home office environment. Demonstrates seeing "the big picture" and can streamline consistent practices. Has a hunter mentality and a “can do” attitude.
